November 2008 - BSLISS to Sponsor the Scottish Deaf Association Friendship Cup

We are pleased to announce BSLISScotland’s sponsorship of the Scottish Deaf Association Friendship Cup. At the end of November 2008 teams of hearing and D/deaf young boys and girls from 11-15yrs and men and women from 16-30yrs competed in a friendly football five -a-side tournament held in Glasgow’s Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena. You can see some pictures below of the trophies we provided, complete with BSLISScotland Ribbons, being awarded to the successful competitors. Congratulations.

December 2008 - Education & Training News: Post Graduate Diploma BSL/English Interpreting Awards

Congratulations to our team members Helen Dunipace, Janice Murdoch and Edward Foley on the award of a ‘Post Graduate Diploma BSL/English Interpreting’ from the University of Central Lancashire. Your hard work and gruelling travel regime has been rewarded - well done guys!
